  • Tara  Bullen

    Tara Bullen, Office Manager

    Tara was born and raised in The Bronx, NY. After graduating Lehman High School in The Bronx Tara attended Westchester Community College. Tara continued her studies at American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, studying Mortuary Science. Tara spent most of her career in the travel/hospitality industry. Working as a multiple location manager with Liberty Travel Tara has a vast amount of experience in event planning, business management and customer service. Every day Tara looks forward to providing the families we serve with whatever assistance they may need. Tara is a parishioner of St. Ambrose Church and teaches 2nd grade for St. Ambrose's Parish School of Religion. Tara is a Notary Public, a service she does free of charge for the community.

    Tara is married to Jeremiah and together they have 2 children Madelyn and Emma and a dog, Fiona.

  • Megan C. Moran-McEvilly

    Megan C. Moran-McEvilly

    Megan Moran-McEvilly is the eldest child of Cecilia and Kevin Moran, and the third generation to join the family business. After graduating from St. Joseph by the Sea High School, Megan was accepted into and attended the prestigious Verrazano Business School at the College of Staten Island. She then switched her Major to Funeral Service Administration at St. John’s University. In 2010 she graduated American Academy McAllsiter Institute of Funeral Service. Having worked in the family business’ since high school, she understands the importance of service. Megan wears many hats at the funeral home, in addition to her duties as a Licensed Funeral Director in New York, she is responsible for the majority of marketing and advertising, she helps coordinate our After Care and Tree Lighting Service, she serves as office manager and is responsible for the creation and oversight of our firms Website.

  • Peter J. McEvilly

    Peter J. McEvilly

    Peter J. McEvilly, a native Staten Islander started his career with us as a young apprentice in 2006. His interest and dedication to the profession led him to attain a Bachelors Degree from St. John’s University in Funeral Service Administration, after graduating from Monsignor Farrell High School. He then furthered his education by attending the American Academy McAllsiter Institute of Funeral Service, graduating in 2010. A lifelong parishioner of Holy Child Church, he is also a member of Stolzenthaler Council of the Knights of Columbus. Peter now teaches at the American Academy McAllsiter Institute in both their campus and on line programs. He is married to Megan Moran, granddaughter of the founder.

  • Vito Fago

    Vito Fago

    Vito Fago, a native Staten Islander graduated from St. Joseph by the Sea High School in 1991, and went on to graduate and earn an Associate degree in Mortuary Science from the American McAllister Institute in 1994. He began his residency immediately afterwards and joined our staff at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals as licensed funeral director until 1998. He decided to change career paths and work in the Information Technology field until 2008. Vito returned to the funeral business afterwards and worked in the trade industry until finally rejoining our staff in 2015. He is a parishioner at St. Clare's Church and resides in Staten Island with his wife, Robyn, and his two children, Justin and Madison.

  • Janine Scozzari

    Janine Scozzari, Funeral Service Apprentice

    Janine is a life-long resident of Old Bridge, New Jersey. She graduated from Old Bridge High School then furthered her education earning a business degree from Brookdale Community College. Janine is currently attending Mercer College, to complete her degree in Funeral Service. Janine has always had the desire to help people, she was a volunteer for the Old Bridge Red and White First Aid Squad. Janine enjoys spending time with her family and niece, cooking and walking her dogs. Janine has an intrinsic drive for the Funeral Service business and is looking forward to learning more about the industry throughout her two year internship.
