Thomas Staffile

Thomas Staffile, 75 of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Born Thursday, January 9, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York, Thomas was the son of the late Eugene and Anne Staffile. Thomas grew up in the Carrol Gardens section of Brooklyn. He was a graduate of Dewey Vocational High School. There he learned the trade of hairdressing. He would use those skills to go on tour with the Bee Gees. Thomas also worked with Hollywood actresses. Thomas would meet Antonia Fradella and the couple would marry. They first lived in Brooklyn, before moving to Staten Island. They eventually settled in Old Bridge in 2001. Thomas worked at All American Ford in Old Bridge. Thomas was a classic car collector. He was proud of the 1966 Thunderbird convertible he restored, and of his 1977 Rolls Royce. He often took part in the Classic Nights car shows at the ACME in Old Bridge. On Sunday mornings he would be outside washing and waxing the family cars. Thomas also loved listening to music, cruising in the Thunderbird and blasting More than a feeling by Boston. He wrote a song many years ago, and it was recorded, Possibility by The Crowns. He also enjoyed watching movies, thrillers being his favorite. He was a loving man who will be missed by all those that loved him. Thomas was predeceased by his loving son Jonathan, who passed away in 2016. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Toni, by his loving daughter Marissa, by his brother Paul, by his Godson Vincent Lombardi, by his niece Monique, and by his brother in law John Fradella and hie wife Audrey. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey. A Funeral service will be at 6:00 PM on Tuesday at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service located at 3377 US Highway 9 Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857.
