Francisco Rodriques Dos Santos, 92 of Manalapan, New Jersey passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Born Sunday, October 15, 1933 in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, Francisco was the son of the late Francisco and Joaquina Dos Santos. Francisco was raised in Portugal and immigrated to the United States in 1957. He lived in Connecticut before moving to New York City. There he would meet and marry the love of his life, Milagros Delfaus. Francisco and Milagros would start a family of their own in New York. It was around this time Francisco would start his business. Francisco owned and operated an import and export company based in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Eventually the family would move to the New Dorp section of Staten Island. They resided there until 1987 when they settled in Manalapan, New Jersey. Francisco enjoyed spending time traveling and being with family. He was a hard worker who took pride in the company he built. Even at the age of 92 he went to the office everyday to attend to his business. His daughters worked with him for more than 30 years, and will cherish the many hours they spent alongside him. Francisco was also very proud of his Portuguese culture and always took an opportunity to tell people about it. Francisco will be deeply missed by all those that love him. Francisco was predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years, Milagros who passed away in 2021, and by his brothers, Antonio and Abilio. Francisco is survived by his loving daughters, Nydia Pereira and her husband Joe, and Jacqueline Antonelli and her husband John, and by his granddaughters, Veronica, Jessica, and Julia. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey. A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service located at 3377 US Highway 9 Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857.
