Denise Rasimowicz

Denise Yvonne Rasimowicz, 100, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Born, raised, and educated in Paris, France, Denise loved her home country, especially her family life there, and carried that love with her throughout her long and beautiful life. While in Paris, Denise met the love of her life, Bill, a WWII Corporal stationed overseas. They married there in June,1945. Shortly thereafter, Denise moved with Bill to his hometown of Carteret, NJ where as a dedicated wife and homemaker, she and her husband raised their two sons with unwavering love. In 1985, following Bill's retirement, they settled in Old Bridge, NJ. There, they became active parishioners of St. Ambrose Church, where Denise volunteered on parish teams for many years. Her church community was a vital part of her life. Denise cherished walking miles each day with her precious dogs, Nikki and then Tina. She treasured the times spent with family in their Pocono Mountain getaway, reading her favorite books, and browsing fine stores always with her signature elegance. Denise was adored for her incredible cooking and baking, especially for her delicious pierogies, cabbage rolls, potato pancakes, and traditional Kolacky cookies. Denise was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bill of 67 years (2012); her parents, François and Marie Baudrier; her brothers, Bernard and Michel Baudrier; and her precious great-granddaughter, Brianna Victoria Rasimowicz (2017 - 2018). She leaves behind her loving sons and daughters-in-law, Bill & Lynn Rasimowicz and Barry & Jean Rasimowicz; her cherished grandchildren, Dana (Carl) Lenz, Ryan Rasimowicz, Steven (Allison) Rasimowicz, Kevin (Vanessa) Rasimowicz, Brian (Stephanie) Rasimowicz, Sean (Ela) Rasimowicz, Patrick Rasimowicz, James (Anne) Rasimowicz, and Brandon (Fabiana) Rasimowicz; and great-grandchildren, Katelyn Lenz, C.J. Lenz; Lucas, Bridget, Colin, Julianna, Madison Rose, Brody, Sofia, Rose, Matthew, Owen, and Olivia Rasimowicz. She is also survived by extended family, including cousins in France and many nieces and nephews in United States. Denise loved life and her family. She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her. A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday at Saint Ambrose located at 83 Throckmorton Ln Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857. Interment will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick, NJ. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
