Cheryl Ann Corless

Cheryl Ann Corless, 54 of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. Born Monday, November 24, 1969 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Cheryl was the daughter of Joan Gilligan and William Gilligan. Cheryl was a lifelong resident of Old Bridge. She was a graduate of Madison Central High School and went on to earn a Bachelors Degree from Monmouth College. After graduating from Monmouth College Cheryl furthered her education in Paralegal Studies. Cheryl worked as a paralegal at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer. Cheryl met the love of her life, Michael Corless while they were at Madison Central High School. The high school sweethearts would eventually marry, and start a family of their own, raising their two daughters, Danielle and Lauren, in the same neighborhood they had both grown up in. Cheryl enjoyed spending her down time baking, and cuddling with her dog Duncan. Cheryl loved being with her family and friends more than anything. She always looked forward to spending time with them. Cheryl was a loving and caring woman who will be missed by all those that love her. Cheryl is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, Michael, by her loving daughters, Danielle and Lauren, by her caring parents, Joan Gilligan, and William Gilligan (Irene), by her siblings, Jill Mesa, Karen Kaplan (Gary), and Billy Gilligan (Annette), by her mother and father in law, Michael and Rosemarie Corless, by her sisters in law, Linda Calascibetta, and Dolores Hadley (Scott), and by many caring nieces and nephews.
