William Scarlino, 78 of Manalapan, New Jersey died on Friday, August 12, 2016, at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold. Born Monday, April 18, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York. He was the son of the late Vito and Margaret Scarlino. William was a proud veteran of the United States Army. After obtaining a degree in accounting William went on to work for Merrill Lynch as an account. After rising to the rank of Vice President, William retired after 43 years. A musician, William played guitar at the folk masses at Our Lady Queen of Peace on Staten Island. William was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Manresa Council. In his spare time he enjoyed reading and following the Stock Market. William is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Rose(Imbriani), his loving children William Scarlino and Cindy, and Nicole Doran and her husband Joseph, his cherished grandchildren Melissa Scarlino, and Patrick and Sean Doran. A memorial mass will take place at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge, NJ. More information on date and time to follow.
