Ryan J. Pomales

June 5, 1982 - September 5, 2021

Ryan J. Pomales, 39 of Monroe Township, New Jersey, tragically passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021, in Old Bridge, NJ. Born Saturday, June 5,1982 in Toms River, New Jersey. Ryan was raised in Barnegat and East Brunswick. He graduated from Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin. Ryan then would go on to attend and graduate from the DeVry Institute. A huge fan of the New York Giants, Ryan and his son Logan would watch games together, talk about plays and planned on attending their very first in person game together this year. He loved sports as though he was a member of the team. Ryan enjoyed listening to music, playing video games, going to the beach, and riding on every single ride with his children at the amusement park. Ryan had a love for ice cream and always made sure to have 5 different flavors in the house to enjoy with his children each night. Ryan was a loving and caring father who spent his days raising his youngest 2 children while his fiancé was working. Ryan had Hemophilia and spent many years not able to enjoy life to the fullest. Thankfully, he received a miracle medicine, which gave him the opportunity to make beautiful memories over the past 2 years with his family. Ryan would do anything for his children and those he loved. He will be deeply missed by all those that were blessed to have him in their life. Ryan is survived by his beloved fiancé, Sara Sorge, by his loving children, Ryan, Logan, and Madison, by his loving mother, Donna Catlow, by his caring brothers, Joel and Shane, by his loving grandmother Shirley Catlow, by his caring ex-wife Milissa Rizzolo, by his fiance's parents Gabi and James Sorge, by his loving aunts, Shirley Skull, Sharon Catlow, and Jean Arnold, and by many loving cousins, and extended family, and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey. A Funeral service will begin at 3:45 PM on Saturday at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service located at 3377 US Highway 9 Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Sorge-Pomales Family Funeral - Memorial Fund, which will be used to help cover expenses in the coming months: https://gofund.me/e7f40ef8
