Philip Saccio

June 20, 1947 - August 19, 2020

Philip Saccio, 73 of Monroe Township, New Jersey passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Born Friday, June 20, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York, Philip was the son of the late Joseph and Rose Saccio. Philip was raised in Brooklyn. He would go on to graduate from LaSalle High School in Manhattan. After High School Philip served his country in the United States Air Force. He would serve for four years before receiving an Honorable Discharge. Returning to Brooklyn, Philip would eventually find a life long career in Motion Pictures. He would become a member of Local 52, and work as a property manager on many productions. While living in Brooklyn Philip would meet the love of his life, Roseann Perroncino. The couple would marry, and start a family of their own. Eventually moving to the Annadale section of Staten Island, where they would raise their children. After retirement, Philip and Roseann would move to Monroe, NJ to be closer to their children. Philip enjoyed horse racing, having a good meal at only the best restaurants, and spending time with his favorite dog, Bella. He was a fan of the Yankees and Jets, and liked catching the games when he could. But what Philip loved the most was being surrounded by his family and friends. He was a caring and loving man who will be forever missed by all those that were blessed to have him in their lives. Philip is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Roseann, by his loving children, Theresa Karl and her husband Peter, Dina Caiazza and her husband Paul, and Maria Scibilia and her husband Andrew, by his cherished grandchildren, Paulie, Joseph, Emily, and Nicholas, and by his siblings, Joseph Saccio, Michael Saccio, and Carol Blazo. Philip was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Saccio. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday at St. Thomas More Church located at 186 Gordons Corner Rd Manalapan Township, New Jersey 07726. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at the Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
