Lucille Felago, 98 of Manalapan, New Jersey passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020, at the Chelsea at Manalapan. Born Saturday, January 7, 1922 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, Lucille was the daughter of the late Ralph and Grace Marotta. Lucille would spend most of her childhood in Hazelton, before moving to Brooklyn, NY. After graduating High School she would meet and marry the love of her life, John Felago. the couple would have a family of their own, raising their children in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. They would move to Staten Island, and Lucille would eventually settle in Manalapan. Lucille enjoyed playing cards, and taking trips to Atlantic City. She loved being surrounded by her family the most. She was a loving woman who will be missed by all those that loved her. Lucille was predeceased by her loving husband of more than 65 years, John, by her loving son Ernie, and by her caring siblings. Lucille is survived by her loving son, John and his wife Jill, and by her loving daughter Rosemary Mercurio and her husband Sal, by her cherished grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Marc, Matthew, Jacqueline, Casey, and Audra, and by her adored great grandchildren, Valentina, Nate, Elliana, Nico, James, Mia, Quinn, Camiella, Kendal, Olive, and Jack. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
