Ljubomir Stojanov, 80 of Parlin, New Jersey passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, at home, surrounded by the love of his family. Born Saturday, May 16, 1942 in Sofia, Bulgaria, Ljubomir was the son of the late Ljubomir was raised in Sofia. After high school he would join the Bulgarian National Army and serve his country honorably. Ljubomir would then earn his degree in Engineering, specializing in Mechanical Engineering. Ljubomir worked for many years, until his retirement 14 years ago. Ljubomir was a traveler, he would live in Europe for some time, before immigrating to the United States in 1972. He would live first in New York, before settling in New Jersey. Ljubomir was a loving and caring man, he was a man of strong faith. In his spare time he enjoyed singing, cooking, and gardening. A very intelligent man Ljubomir was fluent in different languages. What Ljubomir loved the most was spending time surrounded by his family, and watching soccer matches with his grandson. He will be missed by all those that were blessed to have him in their lives. Ljubomir was predeceased by his grandson Krum Krastanov, who passed away in 2001. Ljubomir is survived by his loving children, Ilian L. Stojanov, Daniela Stojanov, Jennifer Stonjanov, and Natalie Stojanov, by his cherished grandchildren Amora Z Johnson, and Alessandro Iliev Contreras. and by his sister Ruska. The family will celebrate Ljubomir's life between the hours of 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
