Larraine Fabiano, 71 of Old Bridge, New Jersey died on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born Friday, August 3, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Sam Gibel and Hilda (Ackerman) Gibel. Larraine was raised in Brooklyn, she was a 1963 graduate of Sheepshead Bay High School. Larraine went on to attend Baruch College in New York. Larraine moved to New Jersey 45 years ago, first living in Roselle Park and then settling in Old Bridge in 1974. There Larraine and her husband Philip would raise their family. Larraine was a Real Estate agent working locally at ERA Designs for Living in Old Bridge. In her spare time she enjoyed reading Mary Higgins Clark books, as well as knitting. Larraine was a member of the Old Bridge Seniors Club. More than anything Larraine loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Larraine is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years Philip, by her loving sons, Scott and his wife Caroline, and Adam and his wife Lori, by her cherished grandchildren Isabelle, Emmaline, and Lucas, by her caring sister Sharon Cohen and her husband Alan, by her caring brother in law Gary Fabiano and his wife Marlene, by her caring cousin Audrey Koppel and her husband Mark, by her many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, and by a host of many other family and friends. A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service located at 3377 US Highway 9 Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857. Interment will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick, NJ. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
