Doreen Rochford

Doreen G. Rochford, 66 of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Spring Hill Hospice of Matawan. Born Saturday, January 7, 1956 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, Doreen was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Janis Rochford. Doreen was a graduate of Pompton Lake High School, in 1974. She would eventually move to Old Bridge. Doreen worked as an activities coordinator for the Spring Hills Post Acute Care Center in Matawan. She held that position for the past 9 years. During the Covid crisis Doreen was instrumental in keeping families in touch by helping residents conduct video calls with their families when they couldn't come and visit in person. Doreen enjoyed spending time on the golf course. and also practiced Karate, achieving the level of Green Belt. Doreen always enjoyed gathering with her friends and family. She will be missed by all those that were blessed to have her in their lives. Doreen was predeceased by her loving parents, Kenneth and Janis, and by her broterh Wayne. Doreen is survived by her many caring and loving friends and cousins. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, May 20, 2022, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
