Charles Nadonley

June 5, 1951 - January 29, 2022

Charles “Chuck” Nadonley, 70 of Parlin, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Born June 5, 1951 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Chuck was the son of the late Eileen and Lawrence Nadonley. He was the brother of Donna and Barbara and predeceased by his siblings John, Patricia and twin brother Billy. Chuck is survived by his cherished friend and former wife Jeanette Cullen, his loving children, Chelsea McGowan and her husband Kevin, Carissa Meador and her husband Thomas and Charles Nadonley, as well as his six loving grandchildren Ashley, Alexa, Andrew, Jaxson, Joella and Maddox. Chuck was an avid bowler and has won many bowling tournaments throughout his lifetime, twice bowling a perfect 300. He was a proud New York Giants fan and would always be tuned into Sunday night football. Chuck also enjoyed a relaxing day of fishing and spending time with friends and family. Chuck was an extremely hard worker. He worked for many years in the party rental business, retail stores and as a handyman. Although he retired in 2018, he never stopped working and was always there to help his children and grandchildren. When something broke, he was there to fix it. When something needed to be built, he built it without instructions. You could always find him with a paint brush in his hand. He also enjoyed being outside with his grandchildren and playing fetch with Nikki and Casey. He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend, and will be missed by all those that loved him. Family and friends can visit on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 3pm-6pm at the Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Funeral Home, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. Funeral Mass will take place Monday, February 7, 2022 at 10am at St. Bartholomew Church, 470 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick, NJ 08816. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the American Heart Association in Chuck’s name in lieu of flowers.
