An inexorable will that defined the very core of her very existence served her well during times of prosperity and adversity. The pride, dignity and confidence that emanated from her very being was palpable to anyone who had an opportunity to spend time in her presence; however, beneath a sometimes serious countenance was a beautiful smile that resonated love, kindness, warmth and generosity of spirit. Althea loved cooking, traveling, listening to music and spending time with her family and friends. Her greatest joy was the relationship that she shared with her devoted daughter Sharon. The love that existed between these two amazing women was and is beyond description. Althea will eternally be remembered as an adoring daughter, a devoted mother, a caring sister, a special aunt, and a great friend. Her kindness, compassion and youthful exuberance, will be greatly missed by her family and friends and the memories of this special woman will live on forever in the hearts and minds of her loved ones.
