Alberto Alegre, 64 of Old Bridge, New Jersey died on Monday, July 18, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born Sunday, January 6, 1952 in Chaco, Argentina to the late Pedro and Petrona Alegre. Alberto was the youngest of seven children. In his mid 20's Alberto came to the United States from Argentina, and in 1976 became a U.S. Citizen. Alberto loved being surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren, he enjoyed summer BBQ's and going to dinner with them. He was skilled with his hands, always able to fix things around the house. Alberto was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in New Brunswick. Alberto is survived by his beloved children Daniel Alegre, Celeste Alegre, and Sandra Alegre. His Cherished grandchildren Bella Rodriguez, and Danny Alegre. His caring 6 sisters, and his loving in-laws Danielle Alegre, and Derek Rodriguez The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, July 22, 2016, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
