Toni Monteleone

Toni Monteleone, 75 of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024, at home surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Born Friday, July 30, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York, Toni was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Bove. Toni was raised in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn, and was a graduate of Bay Ridge High School. Toni would start a family of her own in Brooklyn, living there until 1984 when they moved to Old Bridge. Toni was an extremely hard working woman. After 27 years of working 2 full-time jobs, she retired from the New York City Board of Education where she worked days as a Bookkeeper at Port Richmond High School, as well as a Certified Nursing Assistant from Holy Family Home, where she worked nights. Toni's favorite summertime pastime was going to Belmar Beach. You could always find her on 15th Ave Beach, straight down next to the lifeguard guard stand. There, she spent many beautiful summer days with family and friends. She enjoyed her annual birthday beach brigades, where she would draw a crowd of 40+ people every year. Toni always enjoyed a good party. She was the life of the party and you could usually find her on the dance floor. Even with her hectic work schedule, she made sure she was at every event for her family and her friends. When she wasn't attending parties, Toni enjoyed playing cards, her favorite game being Michigan Rummy. Above all, Toni loved being surrounded by her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren. She was a loving and caring woman who will be deeply missed by all those that were blessed to have her in their lives. Toni was predeceased by her beloved siblings, Vincent Bove, Louise Carpinelli, Teresa Cotroneo, and Marilyn Cotroneo. Toni is survived by her loving daughters, Gina Monteleone, Cindy Boulware and her husband Nicholas, and Michelle Monteleone, by her caring sisters, Alice Russo, Joanne Scamardella, Eileen Leverich, and Michele Bove Andrews, and by her cherished grandchildren, Vincent and John Arena, Gino Castrovinci, Andrew and Peter Boulware & Giovanni and Angelo Vitale, and by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and life long friends.
