Robert John Ampania

Robert John Ampania, 57, of Old Bridge died peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday, December 7, 2014. Born in Manhattan, he lived in Brooklyn before moving to Old Bridge 53 years ago.Robert was a Fork Lift Operator with Case Trucking in Elizabeth for over 15 years. Prior to Case Trucking he worked as a baker for Sunshine Biscuits in East Brunswick.Robert is predeceased by his beloved parents Robert and Rose (Collins) Ampania. He is survived by his adored sisters Nancy Lanza and Gail Nesbitt; his loving brother Glen Ampania; his dear nephew Brian Ampania; his cherished great-niece and goddaughter Nicolette Ampania; his best friend and devoted dog Sadie ("Pookie"). Also surviving are his Aunts, Uncles and many cousins.Friends and Relatives are invited to attend visitation Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 5pm to 9pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 US Highway 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857, a 7pm funeral prayer service will be officiated by Deacon Patrick Hearty of St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church in Old Bridge.
