Margie Maloupis

Margie Maloupis, 80, of Parlin, passed away Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Madison Center, Old Bridge Twp. Born in New York City, Margie lived in Queens, before moving to Parlin 5 years ago. She was a dental assistant for Drs. Nebel & Kanner, in Queens, NY for 42 years retiring in 2006. She loved her family very much, and she also loved the beach. Margie was predeceased by her husband, Gus Maloupis, in 1974, and her parents, Emanuel & Kyriaki Touvras. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, John & Donna Maloupis, her daughter and son in law, Karen & Roland Rodriguez, and her son and daughter in law, Mitchel & Donna Maloupis; her grandchildren, Christine Rodriguez, Nicole Maloupis, Dean Maloupis, Valerie Maloupis, Vanessa Rodriguez, & Matthew Maloupis; her sisters and brothers in law, Catherine & her husband, Gus Itsines, and Ronny & her husband, Mike Prikas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 10am at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1101 River Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854. Interment will follow to Maple Grove Cemetery, 127-15 Kew Gardens Road, Kew Gardens, NY 11415.
