It is with heartfelt sorrow and deep admiration that we announce the passing of Christopher John Castillo who left us at the age of 48. Chris was a dynamic and exceptional individual whose presence illuminated every corner of his life and whose influence will be cherished by all who knew him. A distinguished professional in sales and consulting, Chris achieved great success through his dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment. His career was a testament to his talent and left an enduring impact on colleagues and clients alike. Outside of his professional life, Chris was a man of many passions. His journey as a DJ began in high school and continued to thrive as both a hobby and a profession. His love for music was infectious and a significant part of who he was. He used his skill behind the turntables to connect with others bringing joy to countless people. A lifelong dog lover, Chris grew up with dogs and their companionship was an integral part of his life. His current dogs, Bosie and Stella, were his loyal and beloved companions. His affection for them was a testament to his kind heart and the special bond he shared with them. Through his strong Catholic faith, Chris remained devoted to the traditions and values that guided him. These moments of reflection and celebration were deeply meaningful to him and mirrored his appreciation for the important things in life. Chris had a rare gift for making friends effortlessly. His genuine kindness and ability to connect with others made him a beloved figure in every circle he entered. He lived with a boundless energy and an all-encompassing love that left an unforgettable mark on everyone he met. Family was the cornerstone of Chris' life. His commitment to his loved ones was unwavering, and he treasured every moment spent with them. His deep bonds with his family were evident in everything he did, and he valued these relationships above all else. He is survived by his beloved mother, Milagros Castillo, sister Theresa Castillo (Telly Miller), nephew Khyree Miller, niece Kenlee Miller, brother Robin Castillo, and loving partner Nicole Caporaso, along with a wide circle of friends and relatives who will remember him for his warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit. He was preceded in death by his father, Guillermo Castillo, who he is now reunited with in peace. As we remember Chris, we celebrate a life lived with passion, joy, and an unyielding zest for living. His legacy of love, friendship, and exuberance will continue to inspire and uplift us all. Rest in peace, dear Chris. Your spirit will be deeply missed but will forever remain in our hearts. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday September 13, 2024 between the hours of 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the Michael Hegarty and John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals and Cremation Service, located at 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday September 14, 2024 at 10:00 am At St. Benedicts Roman Catholic Church, Bethany Road, Holmdel, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport, NJ.
