Caroline Ferolano

Caroline Ferolano, 95 of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. Born Sunday, June 26, 1927, in Ozone Park, New York, Caroline was the daughter of the late Aniello and Vincenza Casale. She was raised in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn where she graduated New Utrecht High School and met the love of her life, Joseph Ferolano at a dance at St. Anslem's Church in Brooklyn. The couple married in 1950 and start their own family in that same Bensonhurst neighborhood. Caroline served as President of the Archbishop Hughes Columbiettes, loved dancing, enjoyed playing cards with friends, trips to Atlantic City, and was best known as the Slot Machine Queen to her family. She was famous for her Sunday dinners many times welcoming people at the door with meatballs, and her eggplant parmigiana was legendary! While Caroline played many roles, her most important were mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She devoted her entire life to raising her family, never missed a milestone, and loved unconditionally. She was a stranger to none and will be missed by all those that loved her in return. Caroline was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Joseph. She is survived by her loving children, JoAnn Paolucci and her husband John, Joseph Ferolano and Lydia Miceli, her caring sister Anna Licata and her husband Paul, her cherished grandchildren, Lori Coyne and her husband Kevin, Alyssa Mills and her husband Robert, John T. Paolucci Jr. and his wife Kathryn, Nicole Sciarrone and her husband Carl, her adored great-grandchildren, Kevin, Jr., Michael, Anna Rose, Carl, Sean, and Johnny, and her adored nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM on Friday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church located at 1 St.Thomas Plaza Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857.
