Barbara Lynne Martini

Our treasured Barbara Lynne Martini, 59 of Manalapan, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loving family Born Tuesday, March 13, 1962, on Staten Island, New York, she was the daughter of Marie Karpeles and the late Vincent Karpeles. Barbara was raised on Staten Island. She would graduate from Notre Dame Academy, before earning her degree from St. John's University. Barbara worked at DLJ Investments as Executive Assistant to the CEO. Barbara married Richard Martini, and the couple would relocate to Manalapan, NJ. Barbara and Richard would start a family of their own, and Barbara was devoted mother to both her sons. She was always an active part of her sons' lives, whether it was serving on the PTA at St. Rose of Lima School, or as a team mother at the Manalapan Baseball League. Barbara was solely devoted to her family and she always loved to have them around her. She had become known for being an incredible baker and especially enjoyed the Christmas holidays when her baking would go into overdrive along with Christmas music. Barbara was a loving, affectionate, and generous woman and will be incredibly missed by all those that were blessed to have her in their lives. Barbara was predeceased by her father Vincent Karpeles, who passed in 2018. Barbara is survived by her adoring husband of 20 years, Richard, by her loving sons, Raymond and Nicholas, by her cherished mother, Marie Karpeles, by her much-loved sisters, Kimberly Karpeles-Johnstone and her husband John, and Christine Roesch and her husband Robert, caring sister in law to Steven Martini and Tracy Martini, cherished aunt to Lindsey, Andrew and Jack Roesch and Gina and Steven Martini and by her faithful black Labrador Retriever, Sherry.
