Angelina Correnti

Angelina Correnti, 81 of Manalapan, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Roosevelt Care Center in Old Bridge. Born Monday, February 3, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York, Angelina was one of two children born to the late Dominick and Mary Totillo. Angelina was raised in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn, and was a graduate of Bay Ridge High School. Angelina would meet and marry Richard Correnti and the couple would start a family in Brooklyn. and in 1965 the family would settle in Old Bridge. In 2004 Angelina moved into the community of Covered Bridge II. Angelina worked as a Loan Officer for Household Financial in Red Bank. Throughout her life Angelina was always involved in her community. She was a chapter president of the Deborah Hospital Foundation, and was a trustee before becoming President of Covered Bridge II for 10 years. Always remaining active, in her spare time Angelina could be found playing shuffleboard, bocce, or mahjong. She loved her trips to Atlantic City, running Bingo games, and having lunch with friends More than anything, Angelina loved spending time with her family. She was the matriarch of the family, and being surrounded by her grandchildren was her joy. Angelina was a loving and caring woman who will be missed by all those that love her. Angelina was predeceased by her husband Richard Correnti and longtime companion Dennis Borowski, by her parents Dominick and Mary Totillo and by her brother Raymond Totillo. Angelina is survived by her loving children, Maryann Small and her husband Mike, and Joanne Cameron and her husband Marty, by her cherished grandchildren, Christina, Michael, Kelly, Brian, Richard, and Patrick, and by many caring nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at St. Thomas More Church located at 186 Gordons Corner Rd Manalapan Township, New Jersey 07726. Interment will be in Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations in Angelina's memory to the Deborah Heart Foundation or to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
