James F. Pouliot

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of James Fernand Pouliot of Lakeville, PA. James passed away at the age of 50 on April 5, 2024, at Hospice of The Sacred Heart in Dunmore, PA. where he was surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with cancer. He was born on September 21, 1973, in Rahway, NJ to Fernand Joseph and Karen Therese (Schultz) Pouliot of Old Bridge, NJ, where he grew up and lived until moving and settling down in Lakeville, PA for 17 years with his wife Jaime of over 20 years and his three children Jaedan, Jaryn and Jaxton. James graduated from Madison Central High School in 1991. He went on to hold networking degrees and was a certified training mortician as well as a very talented carpenter. James was a lover of all things outdoors. He was an avid fisherman alongside with his oldest son Jaedan and best friend in one. He also enjoyed hunting, shooting, and riding his Harley. He enjoyed riding his Banshee in the beautiful weather and moreso making TikTok's and going on shopping sprees having father/ daughter time with Jaryn. He was a big Yankees fan and enjoyed watching his favorite football team the Chicago Bears as well as watching his younger son Jaxton play football. He was known for his love of life, his sense of humor, jokes, and his boisterous laugh. His loving spirit extended beyond his family. In addition to his wife, children, and parents, he is survived by his brother Michael Pouliot and his wife Melissa along with his two nephews Tyler and Logan and his niece Ireland of Old Bridge, NJ: his mother-in-law Mary Kubina and her partner Jerry Cucchiara of Howell, NJ; his sister-in-law Erin MacIntyre and her husband Dan of Freehold, NJ along with their three children; and many aunts, uncles and cousins both here in the United States and Canada. James was preceded in death by his sister Jacqueline, his paternal grandparents, Noel and Simone Pouliot, his maternal grandparents, Edwin and Therese Schultz and his father-in-law Kenneth Kubina. James' presence will be profoundly missed, but his memory will continue to be a beacon of warmth and joy for all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A Memorial Service will be held on on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Michel Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home from Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
